This book is so fun to read. Maira Kalman is amazing – I have loved all of her books for the majority of my life. I very seriously recommend reading these stories for yourself, and also to your kids – the illustrations are unique and the handwritten, pictorial typography is fun for them to figure out.
I was staring at this book today, sitting all by itself on my bookshelf. It needs the company of another one of Ms. Kalman's fabulous books...or all of them perhaps.
